Sangov Odil Aslamovich

Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industru of the Republic of Tajikistan

Sangov Odil Aslamovich was born on August 20, 1968, in the city of Chorbog, Kulob District, Kulob Region.

In 1985, graduated from the High School number 7 of Muminabad (Leningrad) District.

1985 to 1992 – studied at the Tajik Technical University, Faculty of Mechanics and Technology, specialty – mechanical engineer.

1987 to 1989 – performed military service, awarded the USSR Government military awards.

1992 to 1994 – Engineer, Head of the Foreign Relations and Marketing Department of the Production Association “Tadzhikgidroagregat”.

1993 to 1995 – Student of the All-Russian Foreign Trade Academy, International Commercial Faculty (World Economy). Specialty – economist with foreign language skills.

1994 to 1995 – Advisor to the General Director of the Trading House “Grand” in Moscow.

1996 – Received a Candidate of Science degree in Economics.

1996 to 2003 – First Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the Dushanbe City Government at the Mayor’s Office and the Moscow City Government.

2003 to 2011 – First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2009 to 2010 – Director – National Pavilion of the Republic of Tajikistan at the World Expo EXPO 2010 in Shanghai, China. (concurrently).

2011 to 2014 – Head of the Department of Economic Reforms and Investments, Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2011 to 2014 – Director of the World Bank Group Projects: Public Administration Reform Project, Emergency Social Assistance Reform Project, Social Protection System Strengthening Project, Migration Service Capacity Building Project. (concurrently).

2014 to the present time – Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan.

2017 – Director of the Pavilion of the Republic of Tajikistan at the International Specialized Exhibition “EXPO – 2017”, Astana city of the Republic of Kazakhstan (concurrently).
