On April 29, 2019 the chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tajikistan was visited by the Chief Executive of Amicus Enterprises and the Chief of REPRO KRC (Pvt) Ltd.

   On April 29, 2019 the chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tajikistan was visited by the Chief Executive of Amicus Enterprises Jehangeer Bajwa and the Chief of REPRO KRC (Pvt) Ltd. Pervez Shafqat Ali. The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman Rustamova Manzura Akramovna and employees of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan.

   The parties discussed the possibility of cooperation on the establishment of a Display Center in the Republic of Tajikistan, which will present the products of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, as well as the establishment of joint industrial enterprises.

   Jehangeer Bajwa suggested the establishment of enterprises for production of medical equipment, particularly x-ray films and surgical instruments, noting two benefits for Tajikistan: reducing the cost of exports of these products and the possibility of exports to neighboring countries.  He also informed about the desire of Pakistani manufacturers of manicure and pedicure products, textile products, sportswear and sport goods to promote their production to Tajikistan market and, possibly, to organize their production in the Republic.

   On behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and industry, Manzura Akramovna expressed the readiness to support to the efforts of the Pakistani side and provide them with all necessary help for the development of bilateral economic and trade relations in these areas, as well as in other priority industries, including: hydropower, mining, pharmaceuticals, tourism and crafts, light industry, agriculture, construction.
