XIV INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS FOR AGRICULTURAL AUXILIARY INDUSTRIES
For the thirteenth year in a row, Extenda-Foreign Trade Agency of Andalucía, organizes the XIII INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS FOR AGRICULTURAL AUXILIARY INDUSTRIES in Almería, Spain, 17th – 19th March, 2020.
The main goal of this event is to promote the Andalusian region and its supply of products and services related to the Auxiliary Industries in Agriculture among international buyers and prescribers as well as identify business opportunities in international markets.
The program will run as follows:
16th March 2020: Arrival
17th March 2020:
Morning: B2B meetings between Andalusian companies and international buyers and prescribers. The interest shown by both sides will be taken into account.
Afternoon: visit to Technological Center and Experimental Center.
18th March 2020:
Morning: B2B meetings between Andalusian companies and international buyers and prescribers. The interest shown by both sides will be taken into account.
Afternoon: Visits to facilities, farms and greenhouses.
19th March 2020: Visits to facilities, farms and greenhouses.
20th March 2020: departure
Andalucía, and specifically Almeria, has become a worldwide referent for the Auxiliary Industry for Agriculture with more than 45.000 hectares of greenhouses. Nowadays there are more than 200 companies involved in all the main activities: greenhouse construction, fertilizers, hydroponic systems, agrochemicals, control and climate, services, machines, plastics, irrigation systems, seeds, biotech control, etc.
Companies in the Auxiliary Industries to the Agricultural sector in Andalucia are at the forefront of technology. This is so due to the impulse to innovate carried out by the following technology and experimental center in Almeria: TECNOVA-Technology and Experimental Center (www.fundaciontecnova.com). Extenda’s participation in this event will be co-financed by the Funds from the European Union through the ERDF Operational Programme for Andalusia 2014-2020.
Extenda will cover the cost of one person per company for the travel and hotel accommodation, breakfast and one meal per day during the 3 days of the event. Transfer to/from the airport is not included.
