Online conference of the business community of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

On April 15, 2021, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan together with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan held a video conference in order to further expand trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. Welcoming speech was made by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Tajikistan – Shoismatov Ergash Rakhmatullaevich, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan – Anvarov Nasim Naimovich and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan – Zholdasov Damir Rauazhovich. Also, more than 25 representatives of the business community of both countries made presentations and reports, in particular: KAMA LLC, Nukus Dilisha LLC, TECHNIC GLOBE LLC, Orient Technology LLC, Tekstilmash State Unitary Enterprise, BISOT LLC, LLC PANAEV FARMS, TAMARA TEXTILE LLC, Arhideya K LLC, MEBEL ORAYI LLC, etc.

As a result of the videoconference – the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of both Republics made a decision on the following:

– to sign an agreement on cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khatlon region of the Republic of Tajikistan.

– exchange contact details of the business community to establish cooperation and facilitate the global distribution of commercial and investment proposals from both parties.

– to widely cover the products manufactured in the two countries on electronic portals and post commercial and investment offers on the websites of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
