EXHIBITION “BOKHTARFOOD – 2021”

In order to achieve and realize the instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to increase export potential in the field of agriculture and to improve the competitiveness of agribusiness in Tajikistan within the International Business Forum “Bokhtarfood – 2021”, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan with the support of the USAID project (US Agency for International Development) , Agribusiness Competitiveness Activity in Tajikistan (ACAT), the Executive Body of State Authority of Khatlon Region and other partners organized an exhibition of agricultural products.

The exhibition was presented by organic fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, canned products, dairy products, water and juices, and etc.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Davlatali Said, Chairman of Khatlon Region Mr. Qurbon Hakimzoda, USAID Acting Mission Director in Tajikistan, Mr. Keith E. Simmons, head and representatives of ministries and agencies, international organizations, guests and representatives of diplomatic departments from Uzbekistan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, Lithuania, Georgia and Pakistan.

The exhibition provided an opportunity for producers of domestic products to demonstrate potential opportunities of Tajikistan in the field of export of agricultural products to guests and visitors of the exhibition.
