How to become a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan?
Statement on procedures of the admission and records of the members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
General provisions
This Statement is developed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan”, the Charter of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and determines the admission procedures.
1.2 Members of CCI RT can be organizations, enterprises, commercial and non-profit organizations, as well as individual entrepreneurs.
1.3 Organizations, enterprises and entrepreneurs – part of the organizations that unite them (unions, associations, etc.) do not become members of the Chamber when these organizations become members of the chamber of Commerce.
1.4 Organizations, enterprises and entrepreneurs acquire membership by joining the members of CCI RT.
- Admission of enterprises, organizations and individual entrepreneurs to the Chamber members.
2.1 Admission of enterprises, organizations, commercial and non-commercial, as well as individual entrepreneurs to the Chamber is carried by the Chamber of Commerce and industry of the Republic of Tajikistan.
2.2 Admission to the membership of the Chamber proceeds on the basis of a standard application addressed to the Chairman of the Chamber signed by the head of the enterprise.
2.3 Enterprises, organizations and entrepreneurs submit the following documents to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry:
— application for membership in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan;
— a copy of the certificate of registration and Charter (for individual entrepreneurs – a copy of the certificate of registration) witnessed by the seal of the enterprise (individual entrepreneur).
2.4 Enterprises, organizations and entrepreneurs become members of CCI of the Republic of Tajikistan by the decision of the Chamber governing body.
2.5 The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan issues an established certificate to the enterprises, organizations and entrepreneurs admitted to the memberships of the Chamber.
2.6 Members of CCI RT through their authorized representatives have the right to:
- elect delegates to the Congress of CCI RT as determined by the Council of the Chamber and to be elected to the governing bodies of the Chamber;
- submit proposals for consideration of the Presidium of the Chamber relating to its activities;
- receive the necessary assistance in solving issues within the scope of its activities in CCI RT;
- use the services of CCI RT, its associated enterprises and institutions on preferential terms determined by the governing bodies of the Chamber;
- Termination of membership of CCI RT and the exclusion from the members.
3.1 The ground for termination of membership of CCI RT can be a written statement of a member of CCI RT, liquidation, reorganization of the enterprise and termination of the individual entrepreneur’s activity.
3.2 The ground for the exclusion from membership of CCI RT can be the failure of a member to implement one of the obligations indicated in Article 15 of the Charter of the CCI RT.
3.3 Exclusion from the members and termination of membership of the CCI RT is proceeded by the Presidium of the Chamber with subsequent agreement and approval by the Council.
3.4 The required documentation and the draft decree of the Presidium of CCI RT on the exclusion from the members and the termination of membership of the CCI RT is prepared by the Chamber Members Department.
