oday, at the “Independence Square” complex in Dushanbe a large-scale march dedicated to the National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan was held with the participation of residents, representatives of ministries and state agencies, higher educational institutions, and various national structures. The march began at the “Independence Square” complex and continued to the Flag Park Square. The leadership and staff of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan also actively took part in the event.

Furthermore, in the afternoon, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the Chamber’s leadership and staff.

The meeting was opened by the Acting Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan Rajabzoda Haydar, who delivered a speech highlighting the historical significance and the role of the National Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan in state-building processes and extended heartfelt congratulations to the staff on this important national occasion. 

Additionally, several employees of the Chamber delivered remarks on this national celebration, emphasizing the importance and value of the National Flag in strengthening unity, independence, and national identity.

It should be noted that the National Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan was adopted on 24 November 1992 during the 16th Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan. This historic date is annually celebrated by the citizens of the country with great pride and respect.
