On March 31, 2026, a ceremonial meeting was held to mark the Day of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the international holiday of Navruz, attended by management and employees.

The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rahmonalizoda Farkhodshoh, congratulated the employees on the 66th anniversary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the international holiday of Navruz, noting that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established on March 30, 1960, by Resolution No. 130 of the Council of Ministers of the Tajik SSR. To this day, it makes a significant contribution to achieving the goals set by the Government for the development of the private sector, and has been awarded prizes and medals for presenting goods and products of domestic manufacturers at international exhibitions.

Regarding the history of Navruz celebrations and their internationalization, it was noted that from the time of Shah Jamshed to the present day, Navruz has been celebrated among the Tajik people with particular pomp and splendor.

F. Rahmonalizoda noted that, thanks to the unprecedented efforts of the Great Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Tajik Navruz has been recognized by the United Nations as an international holiday and is celebrated worldwide in accordance with the specific elements of Navruz, with all nations congratulating each other in the Tajik language, "Navruz Muborak."

At the end of the meeting, several current employees of the central office and regional chambers were awarded certificates of honor by the chamber's leadership.

In connection with the celebration, a festive table decorated with "haftshin," "haftsin," and other national dishes was also set up in the courtyard of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
