Within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and Tajik companies participated in the International Energy Forum held in Tacheng, China, from 23 to 25 June.
During the Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding on Mutual Cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and the associations of chambers of commerce and industry of China, Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Tajik energy companies also held productive negotiations with foreign partners, reaching agreements on expanding cooperation and introducing advanced technologies.
From 25 to 29 June, sixteen Tajik companies representing the energy, healthcare, pharmaceutical, construction, furniture manufacturing, and other sectors participated in Eurasia EXPO-2026 in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, China.
The exhibition featured B2B meetings and technical visits to leading industrial enterprises in Xinjiang, resulting in agreements on equipment supplies, future business cooperation, and the adoption of modern technologies.
A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and one of China's leading energy companies, MSTN Tehnologies Co.., Ltd marking an important step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
