On October 23, 2025 a meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Acting Chairman of the Chamber Rajabzoda Haydar and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Tajikistan (residing in Astana) Mr. Jaap Ora.

During the meeting Rajabzoda Haydar congratulated Mr. Jaap Ora on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Tajikistan and wished him success in further strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

The parties discussed issues related to economic and investment cooperation between Tajikistan and Estonia. The Chamber’s leadership provided the guest with information on the investment climate and opportunities in Tajikistan, including the establishment of joint industrial enterprises and invited the Estonian side to take part in national exhibitions and economic events held in the Republic of Tajikistan.

To this end it was proposed that in 2026 a business delegation from Estonia consisting of representatives of the private sector and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Estonia visit the Republic of Tajikistan to become acquainted with the investment environment and visit industrial and manufacturing enterprises.
