The Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, within the framework of the World Bank’s “Financial and Private Sector Development” Project, Component 3 – the Supply and Export Development Program, organized a visit of a delegation of the interagency working group composed of representatives of various ministries and agencies of the country to the Republic of Korea.
The purpose of the visit is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the Republic of Korea’s strategies and targeted practices, future financial and non-financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in export-oriented activities, product certification processes, and the accreditation of exporters in foreign markets through digital systems.
The interagency working group includes the following members:
— Deputy Director of the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Abdugaffor Jamolzoda;
— Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Aziz Nazar;
— Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Shamsullo Khairullozoda;
— First Deputy Director of the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification, and Trade Supervision under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Rahmonsho Mirzoyon;
— First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Nasimjon Anvarov.
On November 24, 2025, in Seoul, Republic of Korea, a meeting was held between the interagency working group delegation and the management of JUNGWOO VINA CO., LTD, represented by Ms. Bokha Lee. The company’s management noted that JUNGWOO VINA CO., LTD is considered one of the largest enterprises in the textile industry specializing in cotton fiber processing in the Republic of Korea. The company has also opened representative offices in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Republic of Guatemala and has established exports of its products to several countries around the world.
The delegation of the interagency working group presented information on the country’s investment opportunities, investor incentives, the current state and potential of the textile industry, export development, entrepreneurship conditions, free economic zones (FEZs), and their incentives in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The representatives of the working group also invited the company to participate in events planned to be held in the Republic of Tajikistan, including forums and exhibitions.
The delegation’s visit will last from November 22, 2025, to December 4, 2025.
