On 5 February 2026, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rahmonalizoda F. R. and the Counsellor / Deputy Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Rizwan Gul.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy and investment, participation in each other’s international exhibitions, the organization of trade missions and the holding of business forums.

It was noted that in 2025, trade turnover between Tajikistan and Pakistan amounted to 43 million US dollars and that further development of cooperation between the chambers of the two countries is of particular importance for increasing trade volumes.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Pakistani side was invited to actively participate in economic events, including international exhibitions of the Republic of Tajikistan scheduled for 2026, which was positively received by the Pakistani side.
