On March 26-27, 2026, as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, organized and held a joint industrial exhibition of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
The exhibition was opened by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Ziyozoda Sulaymon and Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Kudratov Laziz Shavkatovich.
The goal of the exhibition was to expand trade and economic ties between the two countries, attract entrepreneurs and investors, and establish joint ventures.
More than 80 Tajik enterprises and companies actively participated in the exhibition, presenting their products in the food, light industry, construction, electrical and household appliances, innovation, furniture, medical, pharmaceutical, chemical, jewelry, and handicraft industries.
Samples of agricultural products from both countries were also on display at the exhibition.
The event featured business forums and bilateral business-to-business (B2B) meetings to exchange experiences, develop economic ties, and attract investment.
The exhibition was attended by entrepreneurs, investors, and numerous guests from around the country who met with Tajik entrepreneurs.
The exhibition is an important step in strengthening friendship and economic and industrial cooperation between the two countries.
