On June 15, 2026, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahmonalizoda Farhodshah Rahmonali with a large trade and investment delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran under the leadership of the Chairman of the Iran-Tajikistan Joint Chamber of Commerce, President of the Khorasan Razavi Entrepreneurs' Union Mohammad Hossein Rushanak.

The meeting was attended by official representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture of Iran and heads of leading Iranian companies in the sectors of international transport (railway and road), trade in agro-industrial products, logistics, mining industry and raw materials processing.

During the meeting, the parties highly appreciated the development of trade relations and emphasized that the bilateral trade turnover between Tajikistan and Iran is rapidly developing sector by sector. It was stated that entrepreneurs of the two countries have a serious interest in expanding these figures and launching joint production projects.

Rahmonalizoda F. R. noted that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan is ready to strengthen cooperation with Iranian entrepreneurs in the areas of importing modern industrial technologies and establishing joint production enterprises in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan, especially in free economic zones, using existing investment privileges.

Mohammad Hossein Roshanak expressed the readiness of the Joint Chamber and Iranian entrepreneurs for direct investment and exchange of experience in the fields of sustainable agriculture and export of industrial products.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to hold the first meeting of the Tajik-Iranian Joint Working Council in Tehran in 2026.

The meeting ended in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.
